Our Division is devoting considerable ressources to this purpose, both from a clinical and investigative standpoint . Clinically, our patients are followed regularly, and their outcome recorded both with an oncologic and functional perspective. This has allowed us to strive for the optimal use of the da Vinci robot, and hence better serve our patients. We also have an investigative project whose goal is to superpose 3-D MRI imaging of the prostate on the per-operative da Vinci picture, so as to help the operator in his oncologic and erectile nerve sparing strategy. |
